Dr. Karen Falk, Psy.D.

Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Falk has been in the mental health field for over 25 years and established her private practice in 2005.  She works from a cognitive-behavioral perspective tailored to meet the specific needs of each client with the goal to improve functioning as quickly as possible.  She works with children, teens and adults with mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD, grief and loss, stressful life events, abuse, and relationship issues in the form of individual or family therapy.  Her experience base is diverse, including therapy, neuropsychological and assessment in psychiatric hospitals, psychoeducational testing in schools, and providing therapy in community agencies, nursing homes and private practices.

 

Dr. Stephanie Tappan, Psy.D.

Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Tappan uses cognitive-behavioral, client-centered and family systems techniques along with other adjunct treatment modalities as required to help clients achieve their goals quickly.  She sees children, teens and adults and provides individual and family therapy.  She has years of experience working at community mental health, college counseling centers and private practice settings treating mood (depression and bipolar) and anxiety disorders (panic attacks, agoraphobia, OCD, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and phobias), behavioral disorders,  ADHD, and family and marital conflict.   She administers personality, neuropsychological and psychoeducational testing.
